The DS18B20 Digital Thermometer provides 9 to 12-bit (configurable) temperature readings which
indicate the temperature of the device.
Information is sent to/from the DS18B20 over a 1-Wire interface, so that only one wire (and ground)
needs to be connected from a central microprocessor to a DS18B20. Power for reading, writing, and
performing temperature conversions can be derived from the data line itself with no need for an external
power source.
سنسور اندازه گیری دما با دقت 12 بیت می باشد که از طریق پروتکل 1WIRE دیتا را ارسال میکند .
رنج دمایی قابل اندازه گیری این سنسور 55- تا 125+سانتی گراد است که دقت ان در بازه 10- تا 85+ سانتی گراد 0.5 ± درجه می باشد.
تعداد بیت خروجی این سنسور را میتوان از 9 بیت تا 12 بیت تنظیم نمود و مدت زمان مورد نیاز برای تبدیل دما حداکثر 750 میلی ثانیه بوده و با ولتاژ 3 تا 5.5 ولت میتواند کار بکند.
نکته مهم دیگر اینست که برای اتصال به میکرو کنترلر پایه دیتا حتما توسط مقاومت خارجی پول آپ شود.
هر سنسور دارای یک شماره ROM مخصوص به خود است که طول 64 بیت دارد و بدین ترتیب بروی یک باس میتوان سنسور های مختلف قرار داد و از طریق شماره ROM مختلف،دمای هر سنسور را جداگانه اندازه گیری کرد.
